# Calendar Pro vs Shared Calendar

The clearest difference is ads: Shared Calendar at none against Calendar Pro's shown. Shared Calendar also leads on update cadence (weekly vs monthly) and device support (3 vs 1). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Calendar Pro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Shared Calendar sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Calendar Pro ships an update monthly, Shared Calendar weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
