# 5th Pour vs CHOIL

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: 5th Pour at none against CHOIL's 6. CHOIL's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs weekly) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CHOIL sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $6.00 per month. 5th Pour asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for 5th Pour against 5.0 for CHOIL. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CHOIL has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

5th Pour ships an update weekly, CHOIL every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
