# Raqoon VPN vs SharPei VPN

The clearest difference is rating: Raqoon VPN at 5.0 against SharPei VPN's 3.0. Raqoon VPN also leads on ads (none vs shown) and device support (4 vs 2). SharPei VPN's advantage is ratings volume (10 vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Raqoon VPN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and SharPei VPN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Raqoon VPN holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SharPei VPN has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Raqoon VPN ships an update every 4 days, SharPei VPN every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
