# xMockups vs DropStudio

The clearest difference is update cadence: DropStudio at every 9 days against xMockups's every 3 weeks. xMockups's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. xMockups sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per 7 days and DropStudio sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

xMockups ships an update every 3 weeks, DropStudio every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
