# Stray Arrows vs Wire Release

The clearest difference is update cadence: Stray Arrows at every 3 days against Wire Release's every 10 days. Wire Release's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Stray Arrows sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Wire Release sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Stray Arrows ships an update every 3 days, Wire Release every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
