# BoardingKit vs PackPlan

The clearest difference is update cadence: BoardingKit at weekly against PackPlan's every 2 months. PackPlan's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BoardingKit sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and PackPlan sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BoardingKit ships an update weekly, PackPlan every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
