# SoftHabits vs Monius

The clearest difference is update cadence: Monius at every 5 days against SoftHabits's monthly. Monius also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). SoftHabits's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.0). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SoftHabits sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Monius sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for SoftHabits against 5.0 for Monius. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 1 respectively.

SoftHabits ships an update monthly, Monius every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
