# Drift vs StepScroll

The clearest difference is ads: StepScroll at none against Drift's shown. StepScroll also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 8 days). Drift's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Drift sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and StepScroll sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Drift ships an update every 8 days, StepScroll every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
