# Callamari vs Talk Now

The clearest difference is monetization model: Talk Now at free with in-app purchases against Callamari's subscription. Callamari's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Callamari sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per 7 days and Talk Now sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 3.0 for Callamari against 3.0 for Talk Now. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 9 and 2 respectively.

Callamari ships an update weekly, Talk Now fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
