# Al Manakeesh vs Tahini Plus

The clearest difference is update cadence: Tahini Plus at every 2 weeks against Al Manakeesh's every 5 weeks. Tahini Plus also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). Al Manakeesh's advantage is ratings volume (16 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Al Manakeesh against 5.0 for Tahini Plus. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Al Manakeesh has 16 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Al Manakeesh ships an update every 5 weeks, Tahini Plus every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
