# PatchRig FX vs MOUND

The clearest difference is update cadence: PatchRig FX at every 3 days against MOUND's every 5 days. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PatchRig FX sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and MOUND sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PatchRig FX ships an update every 3 days, MOUND every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
