# Solo Mode vs Heft

The clearest difference is update cadence: Solo Mode at every 2 days against Heft's every 5 days. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Solo Mode sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Heft sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Solo Mode ships an update every 2 days, Heft every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
