# ComicDeck vs Emaki

The clearest difference is update cadence: Emaki at every 2 days against ComicDeck's every 2 months. ComicDeck's advantage is device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ComicDeck sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Emaki sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ComicDeck ships an update every 2 months, Emaki every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and September 17, 2026 respectively.
