# DayTick vs Note

The clearest difference is rating: DayTick at 5.0 against Note's 4.0. DayTick also leads on iOS requirement (17.6 vs 26.0). Note's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 8 days). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DayTick sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Note sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DayTick holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 1 respectively. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

DayTick ships an update every 8 days, Note every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
