# PDF Tools Pro vs Folio

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: PDF Tools Pro at none against Folio's 1. PDF Tools Pro also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 26.2). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Folio sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. PDF Tools Pro asks for nothing beyond the download.
