# Colette vs Fotario

The clearest difference is ads: Colette at none against Fotario's shown. Colette also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs fortnightly). Fotario's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Colette sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Fotario sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Colette ships an update every 6 days, Fotario fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
