# RepStrike vs DoomShield

The clearest difference is ads: RepStrike at none against DoomShield's shown. DoomShield's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RepStrike sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and DoomShield sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

RepStrike ships an update every 2 months, DoomShield every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
