# The Mahjong App vs Yahtzee Scoring

The clearest difference is rating: The Mahjong App at 4.9 against Yahtzee Scoring's 1.0. The Mahjong App also leads on ratings volume (8.5K vs 2) and chart position (#104 vs unranked). Yahtzee Scoring's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Mahjong App sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Yahtzee Scoring sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

The Mahjong App holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Mahjong App has 8.5K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
