# WYCE vs Phoenix Theatres

The clearest difference is rating: Phoenix Theatres at 4.8 against WYCE's 3.9. Phoenix Theatres also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (1.5K vs 8). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Phoenix Theatres holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Phoenix Theatres has 1.5K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of WYCE's written reviews are positive against 48% of Phoenix Theatres's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

WYCE ships an update every 20 months, Phoenix Theatres every 19 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
