# Idea Journal vs V2

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Idea Journal at 16 against V2's 18.0. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Idea Journal sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and V2 sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
