# TallyTap vs Obolos

The clearest difference is update cadence: Obolos at every 2 days against TallyTap's every 5 days. Obolos also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TallyTap sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Obolos sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TallyTap ships an update every 5 days, Obolos every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
