# DayCast vs Sorelia

The clearest difference is ads: DayCast at none against Sorelia's shown. DayCast also leads on device support (4 vs 1). Sorelia's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 5 days) and ratings volume (16 vs 2). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DayCast sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Sorelia sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for DayCast against 5.0 for Sorelia. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sorelia has 16 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

DayCast ships an update every 5 days, Sorelia every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
