Metriso vs Nearly There

Most countdown apps focus on ticking numbers. Metriso focuses on the joy of anticipation. Watch your moments beautifully unfold, day by day, right on your Home Screen. Instead of a generic timer, Metriso introduces Visual Reveals. Choose a beautiful image for your upcoming vacation, wedding, or personal milestone. As the big day draws closer, your chosen image slowly and beautifully reveals itself. It’s not just a countdown; it’s a living piece of art tracking your most anticipated moments. WHY METRISO IS DIFFERENT We believe that looking forward to an event should feel just as good as the event itself. By focusing on visual progression, Metriso turns your Home Screen into a canvas of calm anticipation. CORE FEATURES - Cinematic Reveals: Watch time pass visually. As your event gets closer, your image comes into focus. Hate your job? Nearly There doesn't pretend otherwise. It's a shift countdown app built for people counting down the minutes, not chasing wellness points. Set your shift, watch the "% of BS completed" bar climb, and get a quote that either motivates you or tells you the truth — your choice. WHAT IT DOES — Live shift countdown with a real-time BS% bar — Nested meters: today, this week, this month, and your entire working life — A quick mood check-in at the end of each shift, logged with faces that get progressively more unimpressed — Notes: jot down the BS moments and the (rare) funny ones — History: see your week at a glance, your best and worst days, and how this week's shaping up against last week — A quote card with two moods — Motivation, if you need the push, or Realist, if you don't — An optional 18+ uncensored quote pack, for when "keep going!" doesn't cut it NEARLY THERE PRO Free gets you the full daily loop — the countdown, the meters, the mood log, the notes. Free forever, not a trial. Pro unlocks the bigger picture: your full mood and notes history, a live money-earned ticker for your shift, a retirement countdown, and escape countdowns for your next day off and any leave you've got booked. Two ways to unlock it — a one-off "Resignation Letter" purchase, or a cheaper "Annual Retainer" with a 7-day free trial. No monthly plan. No surprises. PRIVACY No account. No login. No ads, ever. Nothing about your shifts, your mood, or your pay ever leaves your phone. We don't monetise you the sleazy way — that's what the purchase is for. Nearly There isn't a self-care app. It's workwear.
