# Sovon vs VICI

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: VICI at none against Sovon's 1. VICI also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 8 days) and ratings volume (6 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sovon sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. VICI asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Sovon against 5.0 for VICI. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VICI has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Sovon ships an update every 8 days, VICI every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
