# MoveMap vs TrekDex

The clearest difference is update cadence: MoveMap at every 5 days against TrekDex's fortnightly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MoveMap sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and TrekDex sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MoveMap ships an update every 5 days, TrekDex fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
