# KITE Sampler vs MS

The clearest difference is update cadence: MS at every 3 days against KITE Sampler's every 10 days. KITE Sampler's advantage is iOS requirement (16.3 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. KITE Sampler sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and MS sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

KITE Sampler ships an update every 10 days, MS every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
