# Honest Period Tracker vs Luna

The clearest difference is update cadence: Luna at every 2 months against Honest Period Tracker's every 4 months. Luna also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Honest Period Tracker sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Luna sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Honest Period Tracker ships an update every 4 months, Luna every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
