# ISOBEAST vs Plank Timer

The clearest difference is update cadence: ISOBEAST at every 2 weeks against Plank Timer's every 6 weeks. ISOBEAST also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ISOBEAST sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Plank Timer sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ISOBEAST ships an update every 2 weeks, Plank Timer every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
