# ISOBEAST vs Treadwell

The clearest difference is update cadence: ISOBEAST at every 2 weeks against Treadwell's every 3 months. ISOBEAST also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ISOBEAST sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Treadwell sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ISOBEAST ships an update every 2 weeks, Treadwell every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
