# Vidy vs Ringora

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Ringora at 100% against Vidy's 38%. Ringora also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). Vidy's advantage is ratings volume (828 vs 6) and monetization model (ad-supported vs freemium). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vidy sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and Ringora sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ringora holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Vidy has 828 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 38% of Vidy's written reviews are positive against 100% of Ringora's.
