SWAP Direct vs ECO

SWAP Direct is a matching platform that enables verified individuals to exchange currencies directly with one another. Search for an offer or publish your own, find a verified counterparty and track every stage of the exchange in the app. In Direct Mode, the exchanged funds are transferred directly between users through the agreed payment methods. SWAP Direct does not receive, hold or transfer the exchanged funds. The real market reference rate displayed when the offer is created is applied and locked. It cannot be changed or negotiated. SWAP Direct adds no margin to the exchange rate. Each user pays a 0.5% VAT-inclusive service fee, clearly displayed before confirmation. With SWAP Direct • Search available offers by currency pair, country and fund-delivery method. • Create your own offer free of charge; the service fee is paid only when an exchange is accepted. • Exchange multiple currencies, including EUR, USD, XOF and XAF, subject to corridor availability. • Choose the available delivery methods: bank transfer or Mobile Money, depending on the country. • Exchange with users subject to tiered identity verification (KYC). • Use in-app messaging, provide relevant payment evidence and track send and receipt confirmations. • Review your exchange history and community ratings. How it works Search for an offer or create your own. Accept the exchange terms and pay the SWAP Direct service fee. Transfer the funds directly to the other user, confirm receipt and complete the exchange. Safety, compliance and transparency • Tiered identity verification, which may include a government-issued ID, facial verification and a liveness check. • Compliance, fraud-prevention, AML/CTF, sanctions and geographic-restriction controls. • Market reference rate locked when the offer is created, with no exchange-rate margin added by SWAP Direct. • A 0.5% VAT-inclusive service fee payable by each user and displayed before confirmation. • Availability varies by country, currency, payment method, KYC level and applicable restrictions. • Godare Consulting SAS is registered with ORIAS under no. 26009472 as a Broker in Banking Operations and Payment Services (COBSP). Its intermediation activity falls within the ACPR supervisory perimeter under the conditions provided by French law. Escrow Mode and cash exchanges are not active at launch. Any future activation will be announced in the app and governed by the applicable terms.
