# Nimo IPTV Player vs PixelPlay

The clearest difference is ads: PixelPlay at none against Nimo IPTV Player's shown. Nimo IPTV Player's advantage is ratings volume (6 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nimo IPTV Player sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and PixelPlay sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Nimo IPTV Player against 5.0 for PixelPlay. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nimo IPTV Player has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
