Verdict (formerly LexGPT) is an AI legal assistant that explains the law where you live in plain words. Ask a legal question by typing or speaking, get a risk report on a contract or notice, draft letters, notices and agreements as PDF, and keep everything about a legal issue in one private place. Verdict covers the United States state by state, India (the new BNS, BNSS and BSA with the old IPC, CrPC and Evidence Act sections), the United Kingdom, the UAE, Canada, Australia and more than 100 other countries. It gives legal information, not legal advice. It is not a lawyer or a law firm. Know where you stand. Ask a legal question • Type or speak, and attach a document if it helps. • Answers follow your country and state, name the Act and section when sure, and end with what to do next. • With Pro, Verdict checks official sources when a question needs current facts, and cites them. • Answers in 29 languages, including English, Spanish, Hindi, Arabic and Chinese. Review a contract or notice • Scan or upload a lease, job offer, NDA, loan agreement or legal notice. • Get a risk report: a verdict such as "Negotiate first", a fairness score out of 100, and risky clauses quoted word for word, each with why it matters and what to ask for. • Key dates, money and obligations are pulled out; dates become reminders. Draft letters, notices and agreements • 18 guided templates, from a demand letter, deposit refund notice or consumer complaint to a rental agreement, NDA, affidavit, power of attorney or cease and desist letter. • Answer a few questions, choose a tone, edit, and export a clean PDF. Know your rights • Guides for renting, work and pay, shopping, family, police and arrest, online fraud, money, property, driving, health, education and travel. • Each guide: your rights and the law behind them, steps to take, evidence to keep, where to go and time limits. Look up the law • Search an Act, a section or a plain question, such as "Fair Housing Act", "deposit rules in California" or "BNS 318", and get a plain-word summary, elements, penalties, exceptions and an example. Matters and deadlines • One matter per legal issue: conversations, documents, deadlines, notes and a timeline. • Reminders on the day and three days before a deadline. • With Pro, a case brief for your lawyer, exported as PDF. Private by design • Conversations, matters and documents are stored on your iPhone. • The vault encrypts files on your device (AES-256) and opens with Face ID or your passcode. • Verdict's servers don't keep the text of your questions or documents. No ads. Who it's for Tenants, employees, freelancers, small business owners and families with an everyday legal problem: a deposit not returned, unpaid wages, a notice in the mail, a contract to sign, an online scam. Verdict can't represent you, but it helps you prepare. Free and Pro The free plan includes 3 questions, 3 look-ups and 3 voice questions a day, 1 document review and 1 draft a month, and a vault for 10 files. Verdict Pro (weekly, monthly or yearly) adds daily document reviews and drafts, case briefs, cited official sources, an unlimited vault and much higher limits (fair use). Subscription terms • Verdict Pro is an auto-renewing subscription. Prices are shown in the app before you buy and vary by country. • Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. • It renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; renewal is charged within 24 hours before the period ends. • Manage or cancel any time in Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions. • Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.
