# HuntrMap vs Contors

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Contors at none against HuntrMap's 2. Contors also leads on ratings volume (13 vs 1). HuntrMap's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 weeks) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, review sentiment, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HuntrMap sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Contors asks for nothing beyond the download.

HuntrMap holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Contors has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

HuntrMap ships an update every 2 days, Contors every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
