# Fantasy Hike vs StepQuest

The clearest difference is ads: Fantasy Hike at none against StepQuest's shown. StepQuest's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fantasy Hike sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and StepQuest sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fantasy Hike ships an update every 4 days, StepQuest every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
