# PermitPass App vs RouteAll

The clearest difference is monetization model: RouteAll at freemium against PermitPass App's subscription. RouteAll also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.4) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). PermitPass App's advantage is chart position (#130 vs unranked) and ratings volume (14 vs 4). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PermitPass App sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per month and RouteAll sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
