# PTC Binder vs FlyStandby

The clearest difference is review sentiment: PTC Binder at 100% against FlyStandby's 0%. PTC Binder also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (7 vs 1). FlyStandby's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PTC Binder sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and FlyStandby sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FlyStandby holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PTC Binder has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of PTC Binder's written reviews are positive against 0% of FlyStandby's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

PTC Binder ships an update every 4 days, FlyStandby every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
