# TextRizz vs Hook

The clearest difference is rating: TextRizz at 4.8 against Hook's 4.0. TextRizz also leads on ratings volume (56 vs 4) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 11 days). Hook's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TextRizz sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Hook sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TextRizz holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TextRizz has 56 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

TextRizz ships an update every 4 days, Hook every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
