# 9Star vs mini2

The clearest difference is update cadence: mini2 at weekly against 9Star's every 3 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 9Star sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and mini2 sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
