# PlotJoy vs DramaPeak

The clearest difference is rating: DramaPeak at 2.0 against PlotJoy's 1.7. PlotJoy's advantage is ratings volume (23 vs 2). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PlotJoy sells 21 in-app purchases, starting at $18.99 per 7 days and DramaPeak sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DramaPeak holds the better App Store score, 2.0 against 1.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PlotJoy has 23 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 0% and 0% positive.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 27, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
