# Multi vs GenVid

The clearest difference is ads: GenVid at none against Multi's shown. On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Multi sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and GenVid sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Multi ships an update fortnightly, GenVid every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
