# Tippin vs DeviceShelf

The clearest difference is update cadence: DeviceShelf at every 2 days against Tippin's every 6 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tippin sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and DeviceShelf sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tippin ships an update every 6 weeks, DeviceShelf every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
