# PicCents vs Human Archive

The clearest difference is rating: PicCents at 5.0 against Human Archive's 3.3. PicCents also leads on iOS requirement (16.2 vs 18.0). Human Archive's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (7 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PicCents holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Human Archive has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

PicCents ships an update every 2 months, Human Archive every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
