# App Block vs ReadLock

The clearest difference is update cadence: ReadLock at every 5 days against App Block's every 4 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. App Block sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and ReadLock sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
