# JotBox vs Magnet

The clearest difference is update cadence: Magnet at every 4 days against JotBox's every 5 weeks. JotBox's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. JotBox sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Magnet sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

JotBox ships an update every 5 weeks, Magnet every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
