# JotBox vs Peel

The clearest difference is update cadence: Peel at daily against JotBox's every 5 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. JotBox sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Peel sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

JotBox ships an update every 5 weeks, Peel daily. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
