# FlashSnap vs Truly Simple Flashcards

The clearest difference is update cadence: FlashSnap at every 3 weeks against Truly Simple Flashcards's every 6 weeks. Truly Simple Flashcards's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FlashSnap sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Truly Simple Flashcards sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FlashSnap ships an update every 3 weeks, Truly Simple Flashcards every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
