# Loop Note vs ShadowCoach

The clearest difference is update cadence: Loop Note at every 3 days against ShadowCoach's every 3 weeks. Loop Note also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Loop Note sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and ShadowCoach sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Loop Note ships an update every 3 days, ShadowCoach every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 28, 2026.
