# Prettier vs GlamMax

The clearest difference is review sentiment: GlamMax at 100% against Prettier's 11%. GlamMax also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). Prettier's advantage is ratings volume (752 vs 7) and rating (4.5 vs 4.3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Prettier sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and GlamMax sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Prettier holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Prettier has 752 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 11% of Prettier's written reviews are positive against 100% of GlamMax's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Prettier ships an update every 5 days, GlamMax weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
