# Prettier vs Now Up

The clearest difference is update cadence: Prettier at every 5 days against Now Up's monthly. Prettier also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Prettier sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Now Up sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Prettier ships an update every 5 days, Now Up monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
